Forget electric supercars, Lamborghini is pumping the brakes. Stricter emission rules are pushing everyone towards electric, but Lamborghini is bucking the trend.
Their CEO says electric just doesn't deliver the thrilling experience their customers crave
Think about it. The roar of a Lamborghini engine is part of the magic. Electric might be quiet and clean, but it doesn't exactly scream "adrenaline rush." That's why Lambo is focusing on gas-powered supercars for now.
Lamborghini isn't the only one holding onto gas. Bugatti's new Bolide will be a hybrid powered by a monstrous W16 engine
Pagani's also sticking to gas for their upcoming cars. Batteries are just too heavy for peak supercar performance.
Their first electric car won't be a supercar, but a luxury four-seater named the Lanzador, arriving in 2028. In the meantime, Lamborghini is keeping the supercar dream alive with the glorious sound of high-performance gasoline engines
