Mini has officially unveiled its all-new electric Aceman crossover, offering city dwellers a stylish and practical option with a range of up to 252 miles (WLTP).
Two Powertrain Options:
- Mini Aceman E: Front-wheel drive with a single electric motor producing 181 horsepower (135 kW) and 211 lb-ft of torque. Accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 7.9 seconds. Powered by a 42.5 kWh battery pack with a WLTP range of up to 192 miles.
- Mini Aceman SE: More powerful front-wheel drive with 214 horsepower (160 kW) and 243 lb-ft of torque. 0 to 62 mph in 7.1 seconds. Equipped with a larger 54.2 kWh battery pack, extending the WLTP range to 252 miles.
Charging:
- AC charging up to 11 kW.
- DC fast charging:
- Aceman E: Up to 75 kW, enabling a 10-80% charge in under 30 minutes.
- Aceman SE: Up to 95 kW, achieving a 10-80% charge in under 30 minutes.
Interior:
- Familiar layout from the Mini Cooper hatchback.
- Round OLED display for infotainment and instrument cluster.
- Toggle switches for various controls.
- Seating for five passengers.
- Cargo space: 10.59 cubic feet (300 liters), expandable to 35.49 cubic feet (999 liters).
- Three trim levels: Classic, Favored, and JCW (equipment level, not John Cooper Works performance).
Production and Availability:
- Initial production in China by Spotlight Automotive (BMW-Great Wall Motor joint venture).
- 2026 production planned at Mini’s Oxford, UK plant.
