While falling short of the full target, it still set a new benchmark with scores exceeding 1,900 km for multiple test cars.
- AEOLUS L7 Smashes Endurance Record: Just a month later, the Dongfeng Motor AEOLUS L7 hybrid SUV shattered the endurance record. All three test vehicles surpassed 2,000 km, with one reaching an incredible 2,540 km (1,578 miles) under real-world driving conditions.
These feats highlight China’s progress not only in raw performance but also in affordability. The record-breaking models are priced competitively, ranging from $17,800 to $21,700.
